The short version
Vorik has no account, analytics, advertising, or tracking. Scanning, text recognition, indexing, search, and document answers run locally. The app’s core features do not upload your documents.
Who operates Vorik
Vorik is provided by X3N LLC. This policy explains how the Vorik iPhone and iPad app and this website handle information.
Information the app does not collect
Vorik does not collect, transmit, or provide X3N LLC access to:
- Scanned documents, imported PDFs, or selected photos
- Recognized or manually corrected document text
- Document titles, categories, tags, favorites, or collections
- Searches, document questions, answers, or source passages
- Answer-quality feedback stored inside the app
- Advertising identifiers, usage analytics, or tracking profiles
How information is stored
Your documents, page images, database, recognized text, search indexes, settings, and local feedback records are stored in Vorik’s private app container on your device. Other apps cannot normally access that container.
Deleting a document removes its local database records and private files. Removing Vorik from your device removes the data stored in its app container.
On-device processing
Vorik uses Apple frameworks and included local models to recognize page text, create search indexes, retrieve matching passages, and answer document questions. These operations run on your device. Vorik does not operate a remote document-processing or artificial-intelligence service.
Permissions and files you choose
Camera
Vorik requests camera access only after you choose to scan a document. Camera content is used to create the document you asked to save.
Photos
Vorik uses Apple’s system photo picker. The app receives only the photos you explicitly choose.
Files
When you import a PDF or supported package, Vorik receives the file you select through Apple’s file picker. When you export or share, the destination is chosen through the system share interface.
App Store purchases
If you view, buy, or restore Full Library, Apple processes the product request and transaction through the App Store. X3N LLC does not receive your documents, questions, or library contents as part of that purchase. Apple’s handling of purchase and Apple Account information is governed by Apple’s terms and privacy practices.
Device and iCloud backups
Vorik’s private app files may be included in an encrypted device backup or iCloud Backup when you enable Apple’s backup service. Those backups are controlled by your Apple account and device settings and are governed by Apple’s terms and privacy practices. X3N LLC does not operate or access them.
If you choose Back up to iCloud Drive, Vorik creates a restorable library archive and opens Apple’s Files picker. The destination is your choice, and the archive goes directly to the provider you select; it is not sent through X3N LLC. Apple encrypts iCloud Drive data in transit and on its servers. iCloud Drive data is end-to-end encrypted when Advanced Data Protection for iCloud is enabled for your Apple Account.
Information you voluntarily send
If you email team@x3n.network, we receive the address, message, and attachments you choose to send. Do not attach private documents unless they are necessary for your support request and you intend to share them. We use support messages to respond, diagnose the reported issue, and maintain appropriate business records.
Retention, deletion, and your choices
Information stored by the Vorik app remains on your device until you delete a document, erase an archive, or remove the app. Because X3N LLC does not receive that local library, we do not hold a remote copy to delete.
Support correspondence and attachments are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, diagnose the reported issue, maintain appropriate business records, and meet applicable legal obligations. Website request logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for delivery, reliability, and security under the hosting provider’s standard retention schedule. They are not used to build advertising profiles or track visitors across websites.
You can choose not to send support correspondence or attachments. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information X3N LLC actually possesses—including support correspondence—email team@x3n.network. Because Vorik has no account, please identify the correspondence involved without sending a private document.
This website
This website does not use advertising, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, accounts, or cookies. It does not load fonts or application code from third-party content networks.
The infrastructure used to host the static website may temporarily process standard request information, such as an IP address, requested path, browser type, and timestamp, for delivery, reliability, and security. X3N LLC does not use that information to build advertising profiles or track visitors across websites.
Service providers and disclosure
Because the app does not transmit your document library to X3N LLC, we cannot sell, rent, or disclose that library. Providers used for website hosting or email may process the limited information necessary to deliver those services under their own contractual and legal obligations.
We may disclose information actually in our possession when required by applicable law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business reorganization. This does not give us access to data that remains solely on your device.
Children
Vorik is not directed to children under 13, and X3N LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Changes to this policy
If Vorik’s data practices change, this page and the policy date will be updated. A future app feature that requires different handling will be described before it is introduced.
