RoomVector Privacy Policy

RoomVector is a LiDAR and RoomPlan scanning tool that keeps scans organized by project. We collect only what we need to operate the app and never sell your data.

Data we collect automatically

• App analytics: a randomly generated device identifier (stored locally) and session duration are sent to our RoomVector analytics endpoint (x3n.network) over HTTPS to understand active installations and general time in app.
• No content collection: LiDAR/RoomPlan captures, images, and exports are never uploaded to us; they remain on your device and in your own backups.
• No third-party trackers: we do not use advertising SDKs or share analytics with third parties.

How we use analytics data

• Monitor stability and basic usage to guide improvements.
• Count active devices and session duration in aggregate; we do not build personal profiles.

Data storage and security

• On device: project files are stored in the app’s Documents directory and included in your device backups if enabled. You control when to delete them.
• On our servers: analytics events are stored with the random device identifier. We use HTTPS and access controls to protect this data.

Retention

Analytics records are kept only as long as needed to monitor app health and usage trends. Local project data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.

Your choices

• Delete projects and exports at any time inside the app.
• Uninstall the app to remove local data from your device; this also resets the analytics identifier.
• Contact us to request deletion of analytics associated with your device identifier.

Children's privacy

The app is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy for clarity or legal reasons. We will update the effective date when changes are made.
